1. Data We Access (but Do Not Collect)

Our core philosophy is to access the absolute minimum data required for the Extension to function.

Your Google Email Address: We require access to your primary Google account email address through the Google Identity API (identity.email). This information is used for ONE purpose only: to verify your premium license key purchase against the purchaser’s email provided by our payment partner, Gumroad. Your email address is never stored on any server we control and is only used for the duration of the license verification check.
Your Gmail Message Data: To find and delete emails based on your selections (categories and time period), the Extension interacts with your Gmail data via Google’s official APIs. The Extension’s code, which runs locally in your browser, processes email headers (like sender, subject, and date) to display them to you for review. We do not read the body content of your emails, and we do not store, save, or transmit any of your email content to our servers. All processing happens on your computer.

2. Data Storage

The only data the Extension stores is saved locally on your computer using Chrome’s secure storage API. This includes:

Your premium license key, so you don’t have to re-enter it every time.
A simple flag (isPremium) to confirm your premium status.

This information is stored only on your local machine and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share any of your personal data with third parties.

The only external services the Extension communicates with are:

Google’s APIs: To securely authenticate you and perform the email cleaning actions you request.
Gumroad’s API: To verify the validity of a premium license key when you enter it.

4. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
